Publishing /Printing

If you have Publishing or Printing experience, take a look at your local Parish Magazine. You will often find that it is put together by keen amateurs and you may be able to help rejuvinate it. The advertising revenue is useful money for the church, or the community, and can quite often be increased quite substantially. It is not too onerous and it means that you broaden your contacts within the community. I think on average it takes about two days a month. Some magazines I know have increased their revenue 200% with the help of a 'professional'. Some magazines, I hasten to add, are very good.
